After graduating from college in 1981, I'm a slow learner! I taught 5th and 6th grades. My last teaching position was 6th grade science in 2014/2015.
School Story:

I enjoyed being a cheerleader. Some of my favorite memories are of all our activities at the "YWCA."

Tatum Murray Schad, born 1992. Graduated UNL Dental College May 2018, married Rachel Plamann 8/25/18. Their daughter Meadow Josephine was bor. 12/22/22.

What's been happening in your life since our 50th class reunion?

I taught a year of 6th grade science at age 75.

What did you think you would do when you finished high school and what did you actually do?

Teach and teach

Tell us about your life in 2020. What would you like future generations to know about your life during the pandemic?

It has been pretty isolated. My husband and I both tested positive! He was hospitalized and sadly died after only 13 days. It is real! Take masks and isolating seriously!! 😢

Jean and I were friends before we even started school. We lived across the street from each other. I loved her trampoline and her parents, Earl and Goldie and sister, Joanne! I believe we were in the 2nd or 3rd grade when I jumped off the teeter totter, and Jean fell and broke her arm. Jean was thoughtful and quiet.
